Executive Business Book Ghostwriting Services
Build Your Brand
with a Book
You’re at the top of your field, with insights that can inspire others. But turning them into a compelling book seems daunting amidst your packed schedule.
How do you find time to pen your bestseller?
The thought of writing a book while managing a demanding career can feel overwhelming. I get it. While I had a day job, I used to get up at 5am to write. And that only worked because I’d written several books and knew what I was doing.
My name is Jyoti. I am a critically acclaimed and multiple-time internationally bestselling author.
I’ve published several books of my own, written and edited books for others, and have given hundreds of writing lectures and workshops. My passion for storytelling led me to helping clients on five continents find and tell their stories.
More Than a Business Book Ghostwriter
Imagine having a bestselling author at your side, guiding you at every step, from ideation to publication. I can be your writing coach and strategist, or ghostwrite the entire book for you. If your expertise dovetails with my own interests, we might even co-author the book.
I am very selective. In order to guarantee a great book, I work with people I like on meaningful projects.
Please reach out with a short paragraph about your book project.
If I think we’re a good fit, this is how the ghostwriting service works:
- Consult: Share your book vision in a 45-minute strategy session
- Contract: If we both want to proceed, we agree a fee, process, and timeline
- Construct: After receiving a 25% down payment, I start work on your book
Beware: A poorly written book could be worse than no book.
Over 500’000 books are published in English.
Every year.
Most sell less than 200 copies.
If a book is not compelling, it will be ignored. Worse, bad ratings will reflect on you.
You don’t want a ‘me-too’ book.
You want something that will make you proud and generate opportunities for years to come… (Not to mention be of interest and value to your readers.)
That’s why I only work on projects I personally believe in. I don’t want to waste your time or mine.
Reasons to Publish Your Memoir or Business Book
Publishing a nonfiction book brings numerous advantages:
- Build your brand. Whether it’s your personal brand or organisation, showcasing your expertise, values, and unique perspective will help you stand out.
- Generate new opportunities. Your book can extend your reach far beyond your immediate network and open doors to consultancy roles, partnerships, and media appearances.
- Get booked as a speaker. Land more speaking invitations and reach a bigger audience.
- Media visibility. As part of your larger PR strategy, a book does can help land media appearances by establishing you as the expert.
- Build trust. You literally wrote the book on the subject!
- Increase your fees. Clients are more willing to pay a premium for your expertise. Which means you can spend more time doing what you really want.
- Leave a legacy. Share your knowledge and story with future generations, ensuring your contributions to your field are remembered.
Unlike most ghostwriters, I know this is true from my own experience.
I spent several years working mainly with individuals, startups and SMEs. Then my 2020 book Business Storytelling from Hype to Hack opened the door for me to work with Fortune 500 companies and do all of the above.
I have walked the walk, and if we’re a good fit, I can help you do the same.
How To Write A Business Book or Memoir
Writing and publishing a book doesn’t have to feel like swimming in an ocean without a compass.
Here’s my proven approach to writing an impactful business book or memoir:
- Strategy
- Substance
- Structure
- Style
1. Strategy – Your reasons to write your nonfiction book
Why do you want to write a business book, biography or memoir? What are your objectives? When you hold your book in your hands, what will success look like? Explore how your book fits into your larger life and business goals and determine an approach that ensures it actually does.
2. Substance – What goes into a great memoir or business book
With clarity on your strategy, we can identify the best material to illustrate and validate your message. What material do we have to work with? In this step we collect information and anecdotes. We also identify what’s missing. This step can be done virtually or during an in-person retreat.
3. Structure – Form follows function for your memoir or business book
With the strategy set and the substance identified, we then construct the book’s architecture.
How do we bring together this material to support your goals?
This involves determining the most logically and emotionally compelling way to organize and present your material.
4. Style – Telling the story for maximum accessibility and impact
Whether it’s a business book, autobiography or memoir, the narrative and style should be tailored to your intended audience. A strong narrative nonfiction voice will make your book compulsively readable, relatable, and memorable.
A Map for Your Nonfiction Book
This process will give us a map and ensure we are on track.
Of course, the map is not the terrain. You can always change direction, but having a solid plan aligns us and may save you countless hours and a big disappointment.
Ghostwriting or co-authoring your business book or memoir usually takes 6-12 months from signed contract. During this time, we can start preparing for the book’s publication, pitching traditional publishers or getting everything in place to self-publish.
